Jaden Luatua
Jaden has 3 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist.
Graduating from the Auckland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, Jaden began pursuing his interest in mental health with adolescents and children in the community. Jaden has been a mentor and therapist, particularly for male adolescents and children.
Jaden’s passion for wanting to work in pediatrics stems from his personal experience whereby his two younger, autistic cousins received Early Intervention support. From there, he grew a strong interest in sensory integration and sensory processing, and was able to facilitate sensory sports groups for children in the community with similar needs.
Jaden has experience working with children with a range of additional needs, including Down Syndrome, Autism Spectrum (ASD), Pathological Demand Avoidance Disorder (PDA), ADHD, Oppositional Defiance Disorder (ODD), Sensory challenges, Development delays and more.
Outside of work, Jaden enjoys diving, fishing, mixed martial arts, watching sport, and spending time with family.
