How Therapy Works
Our expert therapists follow a structured, evidence-led approach that is focused on play-based activities. This ensures every session is engaging, meaningful and fun for children. All therapy is delivered by our qualified therapists who are registered by Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) and Occupational Therapy Australia (OTAus).

How to Know if My Child Needs Speech Therapy
Have you noticed your child struggling to pronounce words, reach speech milestones, or follow instructions? You, a teacher, doctor, or family member might have noticed difficulties with talking or listening. Around 10 to 12 per cent of children experience speech or language delays.
At Grow & Tell, our experienced speech and occupational therapists in Sydney use standardised assessments to identify where your child may be experiencing difficulties or delays in communication compared to peers of the same age. Early support can make a big difference, helping your child build confidence in communicating, playing, and connecting with others.

You can find us in Crows Nest at Level 3, 38 Oxley Street. Our clinic is easily accessible with lifts and nearby parking, as well as public transport options close by.

Yes. Our mobile therapists visit homes, preschools, and community settings in and around Sydney. This enables children to be supported in familiar environments where they feel most comfortable.

Our session fees are aligned with industry standards and NDIS pricing guidelines. Grow & Tell charges the recommended NDIS rate of $193.99 per hour Monday- Friday.

No referral is needed to see our therapists. You can contact us directly to book an appointment or assessment.

Sessions typically run for 60 minutes, which includes 45 minutes face-to-face and 15 minutes progress notes). Frequency depends on your child’s goals but we recommend weekly sessions based on research. Homework is provided between sessions and a communication book is given to school or childcare providers to help with practice.

Yes. Our team provides assessments, reports, and therapy under both NDIS self-managed and plan-managed funding.

Children frequently miss sessions due to being unwell, away or other commitments. Grow & Tell understands this and continues to provide support for children and families during these times.
To support continuity of care and therapeutic progress, families are encouraged to maintain approximately a 90% attendance rate per quarter, or receive another clinically relevant service where attendance is not possible.
If a child is unable to attend a scheduled session in person, the clinician may provide another clinically relevant service during the reserved appointment time to continue progressing the child toward their therapy goals.
This may include services such as parent telehealth sessions, parent coaching, goal review and therapy planning, liaising with schools or other professionals, creating therapy resources or visual supports, reviewing videos shared by families, or providing personalised home programs and therapy activities.
