Child Speech Therapy Australia, Rhodes

Highest Quality Speech Pathology Services

This blog is for busy parents, carers and educators who are looking for fun, easy-to-do, evidence-based strategies that support children with speech and language delay.

Over the past 13 years Jules has shared her passion of working with children, parents and educators face to face in the Sydney clinic and internationally through telehealth.

This year has been particularly challenging for families trying to access services while lockdowns continue, and even widen across the areas around the Rhodes speech pathology clinic. Local speech pathology services in Sydney in particular have either temporarily closed, moved exclusively to telehealth (which is not always an option for some families), or due to staffing difficulties, hold extensive wait-list times which are a concern for families trying to access early intervention 0-6 years of age (the critical language period where intervention is deemed to be the most beneficial for children with delays).

Child Speech Therapy Australia (CSTA) has remained open throughout these challenging months with an amazingly strong and supportive team of experienced speech pathologist, who continue to dedicate their time and energy to supporting local children and families.

Face to face and telehealth sessions are available as our dedicated team has expanded to include some of the most experienced speech pathologists in Australia, who speak multiple languages and focus on different areas of expertise.

Some of the Benefits of Child Speech Therapy Australia (CSTA)

The culture at CSTA is inclusive and focuses on empowering parents and carers as the best 'therapist' for their child as they have frequent and consistent contact with their child each day. The strategies and information provided in sessions can be incorporated into everyday routines such as mealtimes, play time, bath time, car time, playground time with the ease of repetition.

We believe that every child with speech and language difficulties should have access to the support and strategies that enable them to reach their communication potential. This is the reason we get out of bed each day as we look forward to making a difference in the lives of the children and families we see and future families we are yet to meet.

"Every student can learn, just not on the same day, or the same way"
